2. Website and hosting
We use web hosting from easyname GmbH, Canettistraße 5/10, 1100 Vienna, Austria, to operate this website. When you access it, technically necessary connection data is processed, including your IP address, the time, the requested address and information sent by your browser. This serves to deliver the website, analyse errors and maintain security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
For enabled access logs, easyname states that visitor IP addresses are anonymised after 24 hours and the logs are completely deleted after no more than three months. These periods apply to access logs. Provider information: Data storage at easyname.
3. Contact form, email and phone
When you contact us, we process your information to handle your enquiry and any necessary follow-up. Name, email address and postcode / town are required in the form. Phone number, selected topics and message are optional. The form cannot be submitted without the required information. You can contact us by phone or email instead.
Form data is sent to anes.dzinic@aibaut.at through the hosting provider's mail service and processed in our business email system. Hosting and email providers receive the data needed for technical processing. Please do not send passwords, access codes or particularly sensitive information through the form.
For enquiries about a quote or commissioning work, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering a contract or performance of a contract). We handle other enquiries on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Your enquiry does not constitute consent to newsletters or advertising.
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and carry out necessary follow-up. We retain them for longer only where statutory retention duties or the justified establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require it. The relevant data is then deleted.
4. Technical protection of the form
When you use the form, a necessary session cookie called AISLFORM is used. It assigns the enquiry to a session and helps prevent abusive submissions. This is a session cookie; its session generally ends when you close your browser. An associated security token expires after two hours.
To limit repeated enquiries, the IP address is technically converted into a cryptographic check value. This value and submission times are used on the server to prevent abuse. No message contents or plain-text IP addresses are stored for this purpose. On subsequent requests, entries outside the one-hour window are removed. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in operating the contact form securely.
Cookie and privacy notice
We do not use analytics or marketing cookies. If you acknowledge the notice with “OK, understood”, we remember this on your device in local browser storage under AISL_PRIVACY_NOTICE for up to 180 days. Only the notice version and its expiry time are stored, with no personal identifier. This information is not sent to us. Its sole purpose is to avoid showing an acknowledged notice on every page. You can reopen it at any time using “Cookies & privacy” in the footer or delete the entry through your browser's website data settings. Acknowledgement does not constitute consent to advertising or to the privacy policy. If your browser prevents storage, the notice may appear again.
5. Demo, images and fonts
The interactive demo runs in your browser. Its settings are not stored permanently or transmitted to real smart-home devices. The voice demo uses selectable example phrases and does not access your microphone. Images, icons, scripts and typography are provided without external analytics or advertising services. This website does not use analytics or marketing cookies.
6. External links and WhatsApp
Links to aibaut.at and other websites open services whose operators are responsible for their own data processing. The WhatsApp link connects to WhatsApp only when clicked. The provider for the European region is WhatsApp Ireland Limited. If you use this contact method, your phone number, communications data and technically necessary data in particular are processed under WhatsApp's terms; processing outside the EEA may also occur. 7. Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw any consent you have given with effect for the future. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
8. No automated decisions
We do not use information from your contact enquiry for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, nor do we use it for profiling.
